Katie Burke
Katie Burke is the Founder and Principal of Fall Creek Advisors, where she serves as a counselor to a wide range of notable leaders, CEOs, investors, and boards of directors. She is a member of the U.S. Advisory Board of CVC Capital Partners and serves as a senior advisor for Daniel J. Edelman Holdings—parent company of the consulting firms Edelman, ZENO, Edelman Smithfield, Revere, Salutem and Edible—where she previously served as global Vice Chairman.
Katie is a member of the Board of Directors of NCR Voyix (NYSE: VYX) where she is chairman of the Committee on Directors and Governance and a member of the Compensation Committee. She served as chairman of the Governance Committee and was a member of the Compensation Committee on the Board of Directors of Black Knight, Inc. (NYSE: BKI) through the successful acquisition of the company by Intercontinental Exchange Inc. (ICE) in September 2023.
Katie previously served as Executive Vice President at Nielsen, the global measurement and data analytics company. Her career began on Capitol Hill, where she was a legislative aide with a portfolio that included financial services, technology, government reform, and health care. Following five years on Capitol Hill, Katie was briefly a political producer for MSNBC in New York before joining the Bush ‘04 campaign running broadcast media and surrogate operations for the Republican National Committee. She went on to serve in the White House of George W. Bush as the Director of Television News and served as communications director for statewide and national campaigns.
Katie has an MSc in Public Policy and Administration from the London School of Economics and a BA in Government from Skidmore College. She also holds a certificate in financial accounting from Harvard Business School. She is a member of Extraordinary Women on Boards and the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). Katie serves as a mentor for McKinsey & Company's Advancing Women Executives program.
Katie and her husband David live in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The Burkes have five children—ranging in age from 24 to 12—two dogs, and a rabbit.
