A tradition that emerged from our Spanish language classes, the annual Multicultural Potluck is a schoolwide celebration of the different cultural backgrounds within our community. The event aims to expand our multicultural awareness and appreciation through students and staff sharing dishes that are culturally significant to their families' heritage and traditions while enjoying music and dance.
How to Participate:
All students enrolled in a Spanish course sign up to share a dish and create their "recipe" card during class with Roxana and Emma. Students who are not enrolled in a JHCS Spanish class and who would like to share a dish should talk to or email Grace (gtirapelle@jhcschool.org) to sign up and contribute to the day's menu. Thank you!
The lunch costs $10 per student (only $5 if you bring a dish to share!) and supports student-led DEI initiatives and events for this year. PLEASE BRING CASH to be collected at the start of the lunch period. Thank you!
