About

Board of Trustees

Our Leadership

At Jackson Hole Community School, we follow a clear and well-established model of governance that ensures both strong leadership and operational excellence.

Our Board of Trustees is responsible for stewarding the school’s mission, setting long-term strategy, and ensuring financial sustainability. The Board does not manage the day-to-day operations of the school. The Board has one employee—the Head of School—ensuring clear accountability and strong leadership across the organization.

The Head of School serves as the school’s chief executive, leading all aspects of operations, faculty, and program implementation. The Head works in close partnership with the Board to bring the school’s mission and strategy to life.

Our faculty and administration are responsible for delivering the student experience—designing curriculum, supporting students, and fostering the culture that defines our community.

This clarity of roles allows us to operate effectively, adapt thoughtfully, and ensure that every investment in the school directly supports students and their growth.

If non-Board members are interested in joining a Board Committee as an ad-hoc member, please reach out to the Board Chair. The Committees are Finance, Fundraising/Advancement, and Governance.
